Prof. Yuan Gang's book the Study of European Ombudsman was published by the China University of Political Science and Law Press in July 2013. This book is the research result of the 2011-2014 EU Jean Monnet Programme (Contract Number 2011-3251/001-001) led by Prof. Zhang Tong, and is also one of the 'EU Jean Monnet Programme Series'.
This book mainly explains the emergence and development of the EU ombudsman system, as well as the current research status and practice. The book is divided into four parts: the first part analyzes the emergence and development of the EU ombudsman system, the second part examines the powers and functions of the EU ombudsman, the third part analyzes the effectiveness of the EU ombudsman system, and the fourth part discusses the improvement of the Chinese Supervision Law.
