Doctoral students Chen Yuxi and Ербахаев Е. А and postgraduate students Wei Puzan and Dong Zihe from the College provided the Advanced Seminar on Legal Service for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States, hosted by the Ministry of Justice of P.R.C, with Russian-Chinese consecutive interpretation in University’s International Exchange Centre on Changping Campus from 15 to 23 Dec, 2023.
This seminar was held to implement the message of congratulation from President Xi Jinping to the tenth Meeting of Ministers of Justice of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States. It was also China's response to the concerns of all countries on strengthening exchanges and cooperation in the fields of law and judicial administration, and an important measure to build an exchange and mutual learning platform for Ministries of Justice of the countries. Thirty-three officials from the Ministries of Justice of eleven countries, including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Cambodia and Pakistan, attended the course.
