In order to explore effective channels for cooperation and joint construction between procuratorates and the College, Dean of the College Xie Zhiyong, Chair of the College Council Wang Fang, Associate Dean of the College Xie Libin led a team to visit the People's Procuratorate of Yanqing District of Beijing Municipality on the morning 27 June, 2023.
The meeting was held in the conference room of the Yanqing District Procuratorate, chaired by Gao Tao, Vice Chair of the Procuratorate Council & Deputy Procurator-General of the Procuratorate.
First, Member of the Procuratorate Council & Deputy Procurator-General of the Procuratorate Du Zhijun and Dean Xie Zhiyong introduced the basic situation of each institution respectively. Afterwards, Xu Shiteng, Member of the Procuratorate Council & Director of the Political Department of the Procuratorate, introduced the main contents of the Procuratorate and the College's joint efforts in the establishment of a teaching practice base, the establishment of a practical teaching cooperation mechanism, a regular volunteer service mechanism and other aspects.
The leaders of both sides held an exchange and discussion on cooperation and joint construction, and both indicated that this cooperation would be a positive interaction and an important measure to improve the professional level of procurators and to strengthen the combination of theory and practice in the process of talent training. The two party expressed their expectations in future equal cooperation, mutual assistance, mutual benefit and common development.
After the meeting, Zhang Jun, the Chair of the Procuratorate Council & Procurator-General and the delegation visited an exhibition of their work on the second floor of the Yanqing District Procuratorate.
