Hosted by the Sino-German Institute of Law of College of Comparative Law and the Institute of Constitution Law of School of Law of CUPL, the thirteenth Sino-German Constitution Forum was held in Beijing on 16 Sept, 2023.
Former President of the German Federal Constitution Court Prof. Reinhard Gaier and constitution scholars from CUPL and other universities attended the conference. In this academic feast, the Chinese and German constitution scholars launched in-depth study on the payment function of basic rights. President of CUPL Prof. Ma Huaide extended cordial greetings to the guests from China and Germany.
The forum consisted of four thematic modules covering different issues of the payment function of basic rights. The keynote speeches and panel discussions in each module attracted a large number of experts and scholars in the field of constitution who shared the latest research findings and demonstrated a wealth of theoretical perspectives and practical experience.
