The Research Center for Enterprise Criminal Risk Preventionof China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) is a non-regular scientific research institution officially established in 2015 with the approval of University. With the main task of improving the legal and compliant operation of enterprises and preventing criminal risks of enterprises, the Centre aims to promote all kinds of enterprises to always be on the track of rule of law in economic development and prevent enterprises from deviating from the direction of rule of law due to the case. The Centre is the first legal research institution in China to focus on the prevention and control of corporate criminal legal risks. The Center is led by famous legal experts and well-known lawyers. Through the research of criminal law, criminal procedure law, criminal psychology and the boundary judgment of civil, administrative and criminal legal relations, the members of the Center improve the awareness of criminal risk prevention of economic activities of enterprises and protect the legitimate rights and interests of entrepreneurs according to law.
Since its establishment nearly ten years ago, the Centre has always been committed to academic research on enterprise criminal risk prevention and control and compliance, and has published a number of books, such as Safe Travel - In-depth Analysis of Enterprise Criminal Legal Risk Prevention, to provide intellectual support for difficult and complex issues related to industrial and commercial enterprises across the country, and to actively promote the positive interaction between legal research and judicial practice.
