As the Vice-President of the European Law Society of the Chinese Association for European Stuaies, Director of the European Law Institute of the College Professor Zhang Tong attended its eleventh annual meeting on invitation at the Suzhou Campus of the Renmin University of China on 25-26 Nov, 2017.
This year’s theme was the Prospective on the China-Europe Relationship and European Law in New Era. Over 70 scholars from CUPL, Remin University, the European Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Nanjing University, Southwest University of Political Science & Law and other universities and institutions shared and exchanged their opinions on the legal experience since the signing of the Treaty of Rome, Brexit and the future of European law, EU law’s influence on international law and European law, and the EU law and the China-Europe relationship.
Prof. Zhang Tong delivered a presentation on New Tendency of the Development of EU Contract Law in the Digital Time on the meeting.
