Professor Zhang Tong attended the 2017 Belt and Road Wenzhou Enterprises Nanning Forum themed in New Era, New Thoughts and New Wenzhou Enterprises on invitation on 2-3 Dec, 2017.
The forum was hosted by the Wenzhou Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Nanning City and co-organized by Liangqing District Government of Nanning. Over 700 people from governmental departments, enterprises, academic arena and other industries from home and abroad participated in a series of events of the forum.
The CUPL delegation included the Director of the National Cooperation Department Wu Biao, Associate Dean of Business School Li Xinyu, Assistant to the Dean & Director of the Institute of Corporation History Prof. Wu Yunxian, Director of the History and Society Cross-subject Department A/Prof Yue Qingtang, Director of International Commerce Department A/Prof. Yang Lihua and Deputy Director of Economics Department A/Prof. Zhang Chi.
To better echo with the country’s Belt and Road strategy, and support the development of Chinese corporations’ cross-country operation academically, the Institute of Corporation History of the Business School of CUPL established non-staffed research institute of Belt and Road Chinese Corporation Innovative Development Research Center. Prof. Wu Yunxian is the Director of the Center.
The Inauguration Ceremony the Center was held during the Forum on the morning of 2 December. Deputy Mayor of Nanning Ms. Wu Juan, Vice-President of the Wenzhou CPPCC & President of Aokang Group Mr. Wang Zhentao and President of Wenzhou Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Nanning City Mr. Li Chengcui unveiled the plaque for the Center. Vice-President Prof. Shi Jiangzhong presented the opening remarks.
