The Sino-German Law Institute held Studying in Germany Orientation for year 2013 entering students on Xueyuanlu Campus on the afternoon of 14 July, 2015. Secretary of the Party Branch & Associate Dean of the College of Comparative Law WangFang, Dean of the Sino-German Law Institute Xie Libin, Yan Jingjing, Liu Ming and Yang Mingquan from the College Administrative Office attended this annual event. Wang Fang moderated the meeting.
Dean Xie Linbin first communicated with the students on the issues of studying, life, politics, responsibility and planning in accordance with his own experience gained when he was an international student in Germany. He emphasized that study should be given priority when staying in Germany, and students should precisely arrange thier schedule for the year before going to Germany and the year after graduating from Germany. He suggested the students to respect local conventions and traditions, also to keep a sense of responsibility to their parents, coursemates and the College.
Other dignitaries presented introductions in terms of experiences on studying and living in Germany, returning certificates application, follow-up work in China while studying in Germany.
At the end of the meeting, Secretary Wang Fang called in the students to pay more attention on personal safety while abroad, and care for each other during the coming German year.
