Mr. Tian Yi, the author of Tax of a Town, gave a lecture on Tax of a Town: Buying Tax, Cadre of Villages and Towns and the Political and Economical Logic of China in the Past 30 Years to the students on Xueyuanlu Campus on yesterday evening. The lecture was moderated by Associate Prof. Cui Wei.
As a sophisticated journalist, Mr. Tian conducted a in-depth research on financing situation in China's villages and towns during his writing of the book Tax of a Town. He shared his opinions on fiscal and taxation policy in China's rural area with the students.
