Sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the Action Plan for University Teachers & Students in Capital Serving Revitalisation of Countryside was launched in Beijing. The student programme of the College, ‘Culture’ as the Key and Keeping Up with ‘Law’—CUPLer Help to Unlock Beautiful Siduhe Villiage, was selected, approved and finally won the second prize of Beijing municipal in the event.
The programme was supervised by A/Prfo. Che Hu from the College, headed by year 2022 entering student Hong Weibo, and participated by year 2022 entering student Pan Di. They actively responded to the encouragement and call of the College, going into the field, focusing on the development of rural industry and hosting cultural events and promote the rule of law in the village to serve the revitalisation of the rural areas in the capital Beijing and carry out the fundamental task of setting up morality and cultivating people.
It was reported that in this year's Action Plan, teachers and students from various colleges and universities actively signed up and participated, and a total of 100 teams were selected. They went to 106 villages in 20 provinces, cities and autonomous regions to carry out their practice and give full play to their intellectual superiority to help revitalise the villages. Among them, the teachers and students from the College paid attention to the people's livelihood and went deep into the grass-roots practice, which reflected the CUPLers' strong social responsibility and patriotic sentiment.
